La Paz Food Tour
We'll meet in the Plaza San Francisco square at 6.30 pm to set off on an evening tour and discover the flavours of Bolivia!
Our first stop will be the Mercado Lanza, where we'll try a vitamin juice and api con pastel, a traditional drink with a pie.
Next, we'll visit popular local restaurants to try traditional snacks and dishes from the region. During our tour of the historic centre, we will learn about Bolivian cuisine and the origins of local recipes.
First, at Restaurante Alaya, we will taste chicharrón de cerdo (pork crackling) and fritanga with a refreshing beer. Then, at the colonial restaurant Mirasol, we will try singani sour, traditional peanut soup, and pique macho.
Lastly, we'll visit the Café Higher Ground to end the tour with a local dessert and a glass of wine.
