Delve into the history of La Paz and discover its seaside charm on this guided tour of the Mexican city's most emblematic monuments.

La Paz Guided City Tour

At the appointed time we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Paz to start this tour.

We will first head to the historic city center to visit monuments such as the Municipal Palace, Juarez Theater, Velasco Garden, and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace with its neoclassical facade.

Next, we'll visit the Regional Museum of La Paz and the Southern Californian Handicrafts Center, where you'll find various regional products, including sculptures and souvenirs made by local artisans from materials like choya, damiana, palo de arco, and shells.

We'll continue to Balandra Beach, where we’ll hike to photograph the 'Balandra Mushroom', a rock formation and icon of the area. You will have free time for swimming in the turquoise waters.

Afterward, we'll head to El Tecolote Beach for a traditional lunch on the shores of the Sea of Cortez. Bon appétit!

Finally, we will conclude the tour after 8 hours at the starting point.

Additional Info

Please note that access to Balandra Beach is limited and regulated by government authorities. A visit cannot be guaranteed, even though the itinerary is designed to arrive with enough time as it will depend on the number of attendees that day.
