Tour Details

We'll meet at the designated time at The Steakhouse on Calle Murillo, in the heart of La Paz. From here, we'll set off on an alternative route to visit places frequented by locals.

For an authentic experience, we'll use public transport (bus, minibus, or cable car) to various stops like the Cementerio General, a large cemetery with significant historical importance.

Next, we'll take the cable car up to El Alto for a view from 2.5 miles (4,000 meters) above sea level on the Altiplano plateau. We will also visit the witches' market, where you can get your fortune told with coca leaves by a local yatiri (shaman).

Afterwards, we'll head to the El Alto viewpoint for a view of the valley of La Paz and the snow-capped Illimani Mountain.

At the end of the 3-hour tour, we'll return to the starting point for a typical drink at the Sol y Luna Café.
