Day 1: Copacabana and Sol Island

At 7:30, pickup will be at the La Paz Bus Terminal for the trip to the Titicaca region, the highest navigable lake in the world. After four hours of travel, arrive at Copacabana, located on the lake's shore. After lunch, board a boat to Isla del Sol, known as the cradle of the Inca Empire, and visit the Yumani staircase and the sacred source of the Incas. In the afternoon, walk to the Pallakasa viewpoint for sunset views over Lake Titicaca before returning to the hotel on Isla del Sol for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Pilcocaina & Copacabana

After breakfast with views over Lake Titicaca, take a boat to the ruins of Pilcocaina on Isla del Sol, learning about the history of this ancient Inca palace. Then return to Copacabana to explore its main attractions, including its colorful streets and old buildings. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before starting the journey back to La Paz by bus, arriving at 5:30 pm.

Visit to Isla de la Luna and Sampaya

When making a reservation, choose the option that includes a visit to Isla de la Luna (Island of the Moon). This includes a boat trip on the first day to explore Inca ruins and the temple, as well as a visit to Sampaya, a mystical stone-built town.

Accommodation

The tour includes one night's accommodation at Campo Santo Hostal, Las Islas, or similar, in a double room with a private bathroom.
