Lake Titicaca and La Luna Island Trip

We will pick you up in the morning from your hotel in La Paz and board shared transport to drive through Bolivia's landscapes to Copacabana on Lake Titicaca's shores.

Upon arrival, we will take a boat trip on the Sacred Lake to Moon Island (Isla de la Luna), significant to the Incan civilization. You will learn about the local myths and legends.

On Moon Island, we will explore the myths and understand the current residents' daily lives. We will focus on the historical importance of women on the island, hiking the Warmi Thakhi (Women's Path) and visiting the Iñac Uyu temple.

Before we return to Copacabana, you will have time to interact with the local population and admire their handicrafts, learning about the evolution of the indigenous people of Lake Titicaca. This will be set against the backdrop of one of the world's largest and highest lakes.

We will return to Copacabana and then back to La Paz.
