Lake Titicaca & Isla del Sol Trip

On this day trip to Lake Titicaca and the Isla del Sol, we will explore a significant location in Bolivia and South America.

Day Trip Details

At the specified time, we will pick you up at your hotel in La Paz. We will begin our journey to Copacabana, a city on the shore of Lake Titicaca. The trip will last over 4 hours, offering views of the Andean landscape.

Our first stop will be the Copacabana Church, where we will examine its colonial architecture and learn about its significance. We will also visit the city's traditional markets to find souvenirs.

You will have an hour of free time to eat at a local restaurant offering Bolivian cuisine, including fresh fish and griller trout.

After lunch, we will board a boat on Lake Titicaca, the highest lake in the world. We will sail to the south part of the Isla del Sol, where we will visit the Pilkokaina Palace, and learn about Incan history as we tour the ruins. Following this, we will head to Yumani to see the Three Fountains of the Incans, known for its healing properties.

After touring the Isla del Sol, we will return by boat to Copacabana and then take a bus back to La Paz, concluding the day trip after 14 hours.
