Magdalena Bay Whale Watching

Between 8 and 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Paz. From there, we'll head to Magdalena Bay to observe the gray whales closely.

We will go to the coast and board a boat to search for these immense marine mammals. While cruising the waters, we will also observe the dunes, mangroves and endemic birds in the area.

Keep an eye out for the whales, which can begin to surface at any moment. Adult cetaceans can weigh up to 35 tonnes (over 77,100 lb), showcasing graceful movements and performing amazing acrobatics.

After this experience, we'll return to La Paz for a typical lunch at a local restaurant, and then we will take you back to your hotel, arriving between 7 and 8 pm.
