Hike Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at Sagarnaga Street, 242 in La Paz before making our way to Nevado Charquini. Hiking boots at the ready?

Our first stop will be La Apacheta Viewpoint, an hour's drive away. From this lookout, you'll get to enjoy views and learn about the offerings that take place in this sacred spot. We'll then head over to the Milluni Mining Cemetery, a historic site that offers insight into the life and work of miners in Bolivia.

After another hour's drive, we'll reach the starting point for our hike to Charquini Lagoon. During the trail, you'll experience the surrounding landscapes and nature. Once we reach this lagoon, you'll have some free time to rest, take photos, and have a bite to eat in this natural environment. Don't forget to bring your packed lunch!

Having re-energised, we'll begin our journey back to our transport. After a total of 3 hours hiking, we'll return to La Paz and say our goodbyes at our initial meeting point after a total of 7 hours.
