Description

Day 1: La Paz - Uyuni

At 8 pm, we'll meet on Avenida Uruguay in La Paz and board the bus to Uyuni. You'll have dinner on the bus during the overnight journey.

Day 2: Uyuni

Upon arrival in Uyuni at around 7 am, we'll have breakfast at a cafeteria. We’ll then take a jeep to the Uyuni Salt Flat, stopping at the train cemetery for artistic photos of abandoned 19th-century locomotives. We'll visit Colchani, a salt iodization plant, to learn about salt extraction methods. Afterward, we'll explore the Dakar monument and Playa Blanca salt hostel before visiting Incahuasi Island, where we'll watch a sunset and walk among giant cacti. We'll conclude the day at the hostel in Uyuni.

Day 3: Uyuni - Huayllajara

After breakfast, we'll head to the Colorada Lagoon, passing by Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiacorta lagoons, the Siloli Desert, and the Stone Tree. Lunch will be at a restaurant in Paso del Inca, followed by our 4 pm arrival at the Colorada Lagoon, where we may see flamingos. We'll stay overnight at a hostel in Huayllajara.

Day 4: Huayllajara - Salvador Dalí Desert - Uyuni

Post-breakfast, we’ll visit Sol de Mañana and the Chalviri Hot Springs, then explore the Salvador Dalí Desert with its multicolored rock formations. We'll also view the Verde and Blanca Lagoon and Lincancabur volcano before returning to Uyuni to board the bus back to La Paz.

Day 5: La Paz

After traveling all night, we'll arrive in La Paz at around 6:30 am.
