In the morning, pick-up is available from your hotel in downtown La Paz. After approximately two hours crossing the Bolivian altiplano, we will arrive at Chacaltaya's base camp.

At the base camp, we will begin a short 650-foot hike up to the summit, where you will experience panoramic views of Bolivia's iconic landscapes. After enjoying the scenery, we will descend and proceed to the Valle de la Luna (Valley of the Moon).

Upon arrival, we will explore the valley on foot. The low altitude allows for a gentle walk while our guide shares the origins of the rock formations and the story behind the valley's name.

The trip concludes with a return to La Paz in the midafternoon, dropping you off at the Plaza de San Francisco.
