On our Valley of Souls & Palca Canyon Day Trip from La Paz, we will explore two iconic natural monuments in Bolivia, featuring unique rock formations and colorful landscapes.

Valley of Souls & Palca Canyon Day Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in La Paz at 8:30 am and head south, exiting Bolivia's capital towards its natural attractions. Our first stop is the Valley of Souls, where we will hike through its distinctive rock formations and learn about its name's origin. The hike will lead us to a viewpoint offering a panoramic view of the landscape.

After taking photographs, we will proceed to Palca Canyon. This area includes gorges reaching heights of up to 656 feet (200 meters), stretching along the valley's 5-mile (8-kilometer) length. The gorges have been shaped by thawing snow and strong winds.

Participants will have 1 hour of free time to explore before we return to La Paz. The day trip will conclude at 3:30 pm in San Francisco Square.

Pick up

This tour includes pick up from hotels in the historic center of La Paz. If your hotel is outside this area, we will meet you at San Francisco Square at 8:30 am.
