On our Valley of Souls & Palca Canyon Day Trip from La Paz, we'll explore two iconic natural monuments in Bolivia, featuring unique rock formations and colourful landscapes.

Valley of Souls & Palca Canyon Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in La Paz at 8:30 am, we'll set off southbound towards Bolivia's natural treasures.

Our first stop will be at the Valley of Souls. Here, we'll hike through its peculiar rock formations and learn about the origin of its unique name, eventually reaching the summit for a view of the surrounding landscape.

Next, we'll head to Palca Canyon, where we'll see gorges reaching up to 656 feet (200 metres) in height, stretching 5 miles (8 kilometres) along the valley. These formations were created by thawing snow and wind erosion.

You'll then have 1 hour of free time to explore before we return to La Paz. Our day trip concludes at 3:30 pm in San Francisco Square.

This tour includes pick up from hotels in the historic centre of La Paz. If your hotel is outside this area, we will meet you at San Francisco Square at 8:30 am.
