At the selected time, we'll start our food tour in Piazza Garibaldi, where our guide and expert in local cuisine will be waiting for us. Together, we'll go in search of the flavors that best represent the culinary tradition of La Spezia, rooted in Ligurian gastronomy and Tuscany.

The route will take place in the charming historic center of La Spezia and includes five stops in different locales. We'll try various dishes including farinata (thin pancakes made from chickpea flour), sgabei (bread dough fritters), and fried anchovies and squid prepared by fishermen, along with more substantial dishes like pasta with walnut sauce and mesciua (a grain and legume soup).

A notable dish is testaroli, which varies in name and preparation style; boiled with pesto, parmesan, and mushrooms, or baked and served with cold cuts as panigaccio.

The tour concludes with a taste of the best artisanal gelato in town. After three and a half hours of culinary exploration, we will bid farewell to our guide, marking the end of our gastronomic experience.
