Vernazza & Porto Venere Boat Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Molo Italia dock. We'll board a boat and set sail from La Spezia for Porto Venere and the Cinque Terre National Park. During our day trip, we'll explore 2 places and spend 2 hours 30 minutes at each one.

Our boat will glide through the Gulf of Poets until we reach Porto Venere. Upon arrival, we'll take a guided tour of the medieval centre to learn about the town's history.

We'll walk along Porto Venere's promenade and pass significant monuments like the Church of St. Lawrence, the Church of St. Peter, and Doria Castle, built between the 12th and 15th centuries. The tour will highlight historical battles involving the Romans, Lombards, and Aragonese.

You'll have 30 minutes of free time before we reconvene on the boat to sail towards the rugged coastline of Cinque Terre, passing by charming villages such as Riomaggiore and Corniglia on our way to Vernazza.

With a guide, we'll explore Vernazza and its Genoese fortifications. The narrow streets, lined with colorful houses, lead us to Santa Margherita d'Antiochia, dating back to 1318, where we'll discuss its history before visiting some of the town's scenic viewpoints.

After an 8-hour trip, we'll return to the boat and conclude our journey at the starting point in La Spezia.
