Conchagua Volcano Trip

Tour Description

Meet at 5A Avenida Norte in La Unión at the chosen time for a bus ride to the base of Conchagua volcano, approximately one hour. Upon arrival, transfer to a 4x4 vehicle for a drive through the rocky terrain to the top, reaching the Espiritu de la Montaña viewpoint.

At the viewpoint, enjoy panoramic views and take photographs from the wooden platform. A walk in the surrounding area allows for wildlife observation. Following this, visit a small museum about Lenca culture and embark on a 15-minute hike for additional views of the Gulf of Fonseca and the eastern coast of El Salvador.

After the hike, descend to the base of the volcano and return by bus. The entire excursion lasts 5.5 hours, concluding with drop-off at the starting point.
