Gulf of Fonseca 2-Day Tour

Day 1

At 12 pm, we'll meet at 5A Avenida Norte in La Unión to start this 2-day tour of the Gulf of Fonseca. We will begin with a visit to the protected area of the Conchagua volcano, offering panoramic views of the area. Alternatively, at the time of booking, you can choose to visit Las Tunas beach.

Following that, we will take a guided tour through the village of Conchagua, home to some of the oldest churches in El Salvador. We will also visit a local market for a taste of 'pupusas', a typical local dish.

At the end of the day, we'll return to La Unión for the night.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the harbour to board our boat for a sailing trip in the Pacific. Our first stop will be Meanguera Island, where we will spend half an hour exploring its grounds and learning about its volcanic origin and the convergence of El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua.

Next, we will travel to Zacatillo Island, where you will have two hours to enjoy its cuisine and landscapes. The last stop of our tour will be Conejo Island, before returning to La Unión.
