Ballestas Islands & Paracas National Reserve Day Trip

30 minutes prior to departure, we will meet at the Cruz del Sur bus station in Lima. The trip includes a 4-hour bus ride to Paracas.

A guide will be present at the station in Paracas. We will then board a bus to the harbour and transfer to a speedboat for a trip to the Ballestas Islands. Look for various wildlife including sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and endemic birds upon arrival.

During the tour, we will also view the Paracas Candelabra, a notable geoglyph associated with the Nazca Lines.

After a 2-hour exploration, we will return to the mainland and proceed to the Paracas National Reserve. This includes visits to salt roads and close encounters with local flamingos. The trip will also feature a stop at Lagunillas Beach for scenic views.

Concluding the day, the guide will escort us back to the station in Paracas. The return journey to Cruz del Sur station in Lima will wrap up this 16.5-hour day trip.
