Ballestas Islands & Paracas National Reserve Day Trip
Meet at Cruz del Sur bus station in Lima 30 minutes before departure for a 4-hour bus ride to Paracas.
A guide will meet you at the station in Paracas. We will then board a bus to the harbour, where we will board a speedboat to the Ballestas Islands. Look for various animals upon arrival.
Expect to see colonies of sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and numerous endemic birds. During the trip, we will also view the Paracas Candelabra, a geoglyph linked to the Nazca Lines.
After 2 hours on the islands, return to the mainland and proceed to the Paracas National Reserve. We will explore the salt roads and observe the flamingos in the area. Our next stop will be Lagunillas Beach to appreciate the landscape.
Finally, the guide will bid farewell and take us back to the station in Paracas, concluding our return to Cruz del Sur station in Lima after approximately 16.5 hours.
