Tour Details
Just arrived in Los Angeles and not sure where to start? At the scheduled time, we will meet at 600 W 1st Street to begin this free walking tour of Downtown LA, where you will see the city’s main highlights and learn about its fascinating history.
We will start by admiring the exterior of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by the architect Frank Gehry. From there, we will stroll through the streets of Los Angeles and travel back to 1781, the year the city was founded. Los Angeles, whose name comes from a Spanish legend from the 16th century, is now one of the world’s major cultural and entertainment hubs.
As we explore Downtown, we will visit iconic landmarks, such as The Broad, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the historic Angels Flight Railway.
Next, we will go to Grand Central Market to experience the city’s culinary diversity, followed by a stop at the Bradbury Building and Los Angeles City Hall.
After around two hours, we will conclude the tour at La Placita Olvera.
