Visit the Griffith Observatory in the hills of Los Angeles, a recommended stop for any trip to LA, featuring stunning views.
Description
We'll meet at the specified time at the Astronomers Monument, in front of the Griffith Observatory, to start our guided tour. Look for murals inspired by Greek mythology.
During the tour, we will explore over 6,000 square meters (64,583 square feet) of exhibits, covering the history of Griffith Park, as well as topics such as science, modern architecture, and film curiosities.
We will visit the East Hall, home to the Tesla Coil, before heading to the observatory roof for panoramic views of the LA Basin and the Hollywood sign.
In the West Hall, we will experience an interactive periodic table of elements. The Space Area features sophisticated astronomical instruments. You can also purchase a ticket to attend a show at the Samuel Oschin Planetarium after the tour.
After approximately 1.5 hours of exploring the observatory and its exhibits, the tour will conclude.
