West Coast Tour: 8 Days

On this 8-day West Coast tour, we’ll journey from Los Angeles to Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, and Las Vegas.

Itinerary

Day 1: Los Angeles - Santa Barbara - Carmel - Oakland

We’ll meet at the Starbucks at the Los Angeles Farmers Market. Our first stop is Santa Barbara to visit a Spanish mission, followed by a stroll in Solvang. We'll continue along 17 Mile Drive to Carmel, with free time to explore before heading to Oakland for the night.

Day 2: Oakland - San Francisco - Modesto

After breakfast, we’ll drive to San Francisco. We’ll explore Fisherman’s Wharf, then take a scenic cruise on the bay with views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. Free time for lunch at Pier 39 follows. A guided tour will cover Union Square, Chinatown, and Nob Hill before returning to Modesto for the night.

Day 3: Modesto - Yosemite - Stevenson Ranch

After breakfast, we’ll visit Yosemite National Park to see the giant sequoias and sights like El Capitan and Yosemite Falls. We’ll spend the night in Stevenson Ranch.

Day 4: Stevenson Ranch - Las Vegas

Breakfast at the hotel and then travel through Death Valley to Las Vegas, with a stop at the Barstow outlet for lunch. A tour of the Las Vegas Strip follows, and we’ll spend the night in Las Vegas.

Day 5: Las Vegas

Visit the Hoover Dam post-breakfast, learning about its significance. The afternoon is free for exploration in Las Vegas.

Day 6: Las Vegas - Sedona - Page

Drive through the Mojave Desert to Sedona. Free time for lunch, followed by visiting the Chapel of the Holy Cross. We’ll spend the night in Page.

Day 7: Page - Monument Valley - Horseshoe Bend - Page

After breakfast, we’ll visit Monument Valley and take a jeep tour with a Navajo guide, ending with a visit to Horseshoe Bend.

Day 8: Page - Antelope Canyon - Valley of Fire - Las Vegas

Visit Antelope Canyon and the Valley of Fire before returning to Las Vegas in the early afternoon.

Itinerary Changes

In winter, from November through March, Yosemite Park will be replaced by a tour of Monterey.
