West Coast Tour: 8 Days

On this 8-day West Coast tour, we’ll travel from Los Angeles to Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, and Las Vegas.

Itinerary

Day 1: Los Angeles - Santa Barbara - Carmel - Oakland

We’ll meet at the Starbucks at the Los Angeles Farmers Market. Our first stop is Santa Barbara to visit an old Spanish mission. Next, we’ll stop in Solvang for local shops, followed by a scenic drive along the 17 Mile Drive to Carmel. We’ll spend the night in Oakland.

Day 2: Oakland - San Francisco - Modesto

After breakfast, we’ll head to San Francisco, visiting Fisherman’s Wharf and taking a scenic cruise on the bay. After lunch at Pier 39, we’ll have a guided tour of Union Square, Chinatown, and Nob Hill before returning to Modesto.

Day 3: Modesto - Yosemite - Stevenson Ranch

We’ll visit Yosemite National Park to see giant sequoias and hike around El Capitan and Bridalveil Fall. We’ll also see Half Dome and Yosemite Falls before heading to Stevenson Ranch for the night.

Day 4: Stevenson Ranch - Las Vegas

We’ll travel through Death Valley to Las Vegas, stopping at the Barstow outlet for lunch. The tour of Las Vegas Strip will showcase famous hotels and casinos. Overnight in a Las Vegas hotel.

Day 5: Las Vegas

We’ll visit the Hoover Dam and learn about its engineering. The afternoon is free to explore Las Vegas.

Day 6: Las Vegas - Sedona - Page

After breakfast, we’ll journey through the Mojave Desert to Sedona, stopping for photos in Oak Creek Canyon. Visit Chapel of the Holy Cross before heading to Page.

Day 7: Page - Monument Valley - Horseshoe Bend - Page

We’ll visit Monument Valley on a jeep tour and stop at Horseshoe Bend before returning to Page.

Day 8: Page - Antelope Canyon - Valley of Fire - Las Vegas

We’ll visit Antelope Canyon and the Valley of Fire before returning to Las Vegas in the early afternoon.

Itinerary Changes

In winter, the itinerary may change. From November through March, Yosemite Park will not be visited.
