Feel the rush of adrenaline as you drive around Estancia Cristina in a 4x4 at full speed. This amazing tour will also take you on a boat ride on the stunning Upsala glacier.
Description
Upon gathering at the Estancia Cristina pier, we will board off-road vehicles for a 4WD route through El Calafate's landscapes. Experience the rush as we travel through the Feruglio mountain range, surrounded by a glacial environment. A 20-minute walk leads to the Upsala Glacier viewpoint, offering stunning views and insights into the geological features of Argentinean Patagonia, including facts about Upsala being the third-largest ice sheet in the world.
A break will be taken to enjoy a meal consisting of two Argentinean empanadas, lamb casserole or pasta with pesto, and a flan, accompanied by wine or soda, and coffee or tea. After the meal, we will explore the main areas of Estancia Cristina to learn about the local lifestyle. The tour concludes with a boat ride back to the pier, followed by a return to El Calafate at 8 pm.
Pickup
During booking, you can select the tour option with hotel pickup and drop-off. If this option is not chosen, you must arrive at Estancia Cristina pier by 8:15 am. The return boat will drop you off at the pier at 7 pm.
