Boat Trip Details

We'll meet on the Passeio dos Descobrimentos at the Lagos Maria. A boat will be waiting to take us on a cruise to the caves of Ponta da Piedade. After boarding, we will sail south along the coast of Lagos, passing through narrow passages such as the Siamese, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Corridor. We will navigate among the rock formations and caves of Ponta da Piedade, entering notable caves like the Cathedral, the Kitchen, the Living Room, and the Skull.

After exploring the caves, we will return to the marina, enjoying the views of the beaches of southern Portugal, including Praia da Batata, Praia dos Estudantes, Praia do Pinhão, Praia da Dona Ana, and Praia do Camilo. The trip lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Boat Trip + Swimming Stop

If you wish to extend your experience, you can select the option that includes a stop for swimming in the Algarve waters. This tour lasts 1.5 hours and follows the same itinerary.

What Happens If There Is Bad Weather?

In case of bad weather, the boat trip to the caves of Ponta da Piedade may be canceled, and you will be offered an alternative.
