Discover one of the most spectacular landscapes of all the Algarve when you take our fantastic boat trip to the Ponta da Piedade caves.

Boat Trip Details

We'll meet on the Passeio dos Descobrimentos at the Lagos Maria. A boat will be waiting there to take us on a fabulous cruise to the magical caves of Ponta da Piedade.

After boarding the vessel, we will set sail from the marina and head south along the coast of Lagos, passing through narrow passages such as the Siamese, the Arc de Triomphe and the Corridor. Once there, we will navigate among the beautiful rock formations and caves of Ponta da Piedade. We'll head inside famous caves such as the Cathedral, the Kitchen, the Living Room and the Skull.

After exploring the most spectacular caves on the coast of Lagos, we will start our journey back to the marina while admiring some of the fantastic beaches of southern Portugal and enjoying the gentle breeze of the Atlantic Ocean. Praia da Batata, Praia dos Estudantes, Praia do Pinhão, Praia da Dona Ana and Praia do Camilo... these beautiful beaches await!

After around 1 hour and 15 minutes of exploring this breathtaking place, our experience in the Algarve will come to an end.

What Happens If There Is Bad Weather?

In case of adverse weather conditions, the boat trip to the caves of Ponta da Piedade may be canceled. If this happens, you will be offered an alternative.
