Ljubljana Free Tour

The Triple Bridge, the City Hall, the Cathedral... This free tour of Ljubljana covers the historic center of Slovenia's capital, highlighting its main attractions.

Description

We will meet at 21 Ciril-Metodov, near the Robba Fountain, to begin our free tour of Ljubljana.

Led by an English-speaking guide, we will explore the old town and its history. Highlights include the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas with its green dome, revealing aspects of Slovenia's history.

We will visit the Dragon Bridge, notable as one of the first concrete bridges in Europe.

Next, we’ll head to Preseren Square, home to the Franciscan Church of the Annunciation, recognized for its distinctive pink façade. From here, we can view the Ljubljanica River and the walkways crossing it.

We will cross the famous Triple Bridge, then pass Congress Square, the Central Market, the National Library and University, and the City Hall while exploring the cobblestone streets.

Throughout the tour, we will learn about city legends and conclude the free tour of Ljubljana after 1 hour and 45 minutes by returning to our starting point.
