Description
We will meet at 21 Ciril-Metodov, near the Robba Fountain, to begin our free tour of Ljubljana.
With an English-speaking guide, we will enter the old town and learn about Ljubljana's history from its origins to the present. Our first stop will be the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas with its distinctive green dome and towers, revealing aspects of Slovenia's history.
Next, we will visit the Dragon Bridge, one of Europe's first concrete bridges. From there, we will proceed to Preseren Square, featuring the notable Franciscan Church of the Annunciation and views of the Ljubljanica River.
We will cross the renowned Triple Bridge in Ljubljana and pass by Congress Square, the Central Market, the National Library and University, and the City Hall, exploring the cobblestone streets with their historical layout.
The tour will also cover various legends related to the city, and will conclude after 1 hour and 45 minutes by returning to the starting point.
