Pico Island Dolphin & Whale Watching

At the scheduled time, guests will meet at the dock of Rua dos Baleeiros in Lajes do Picos, a picturesque village on Pico Island's southern coast.

Biologists will provide a technical briefing before departure. Participants will set sail on a Zodiac boat, exploring the renowned dolphin and whale pods of the Azores.

During the trip, sightings of whales and dolphins typical to the North Atlantic will be possible. The crew will assist in identifying species by observing features on the animals.

As the boat sails, guests will enjoy views of Pico Island's coastal landscapes and learn about the history of the Azores and other marine species found in the archipelago.

After a 3-hour boat trip, the group will return to the initial dock.
