Embark on a comprehensive tour of the Duero Valley, where you will visit various wineries and partake in a wine tasting from Porto. In addition, a delightful boat ride? awaits you.

Itinerary

Your adventure commences with a pickup from your hotel at the designated time, setting off to uncover the beauty of Northern Portugal.

The initial destination will be a wine estate, where you'll walk through the expansive vineyards and gain insight into the winemaking process of this region. The visit will culminate in a wine tasting from Porto and selections from other towns in the Duero Valley, where you will learn about the distinct characteristics of these wines.

Next, we will proceed to the riverside for a boat ride down the Duero. This 1-hour excursion will take place aboard a rabelo, a traditional wooden vessel from northern Portugal. During the journey, you will have the chance to admire the picturesque vineyards lining the riverbanks.

Upon completing the boat ride, we’ll visit a local restaurant to savor a traditional lunch. The meal, featuring a classic dish and regional beverages, offers an opportunity to indulge in the renowned local gastronomy. After dining, a visit to a viewpoint will provide breathtaking views over the Duero Valley.

Following this experience, we will head to another winery to delve into the production techniques and aging processes of wines from northern Portugal, sampling various wines from Porto and other regions within the Duero Valley.

After concluding this second tasting session, we will return to your hotel, completing the tour in approximately 8 hours.
