Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in La Rioja and head towards the Triassic Canyon. Prepare your camera to capture one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the region.

Traveling in a 4x4 vehicle, we will journey to the northwest of Argentina through landscapes of dry riverbeds and narrow gorges. We will enter the Reserva Municipal Colorados de Banda Florida, a protected area containing the renowned Triásico Canyon.

While off-road, we will discover facts about this gorge that is over 250 million years old. The striking reddish rock walls will provide stunning views.

Additionally, we will learn about the plant life and wildlife in the area, including how the Triásico Canyon transforms during drought periods.

We will conclude our excursion and return to your hotel in La Rioja approximately 3 hours later.
