Los Colorados (8 Hours)
After a 75-kilometre (46.6-mile) drive from La Rioja, we'll reach the municipality of Patquia. We will hike in Los Colorados, located at the southern tip of a 20,000-hectare valley. The hike will feature bright red rock formations and ancient rock art, including over 200 petroglyphs. We will also visit the Chacho Cave and the Natural Bridge.
Schedule: This hike option begins at 9 am.
Condor Ravine (14 Hours)
Our first stop will be Punta de los Llanos, after a 110-kilometre (68-mile) drive from La Rioja, passing through Tama and Puca Cala. The hike will take us along Condor Ravine, featuring an uphill trail with views of Andean condors at a viewpoint. Afterward, we will descend to an inn for some free time to rest before returning to La Rioja.
Schedule: This hike option begins at 7 am.
