At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Rioja and travel through the Quebrada Los Sauces until we reach the trail, where we'll walk to visit some of the most beautiful corners of the area. Let's go!

We'll make a stop at the dry area of the river, the point that will mark the beginning of the trekking route. We'll climb up the side of a hill that will take us to the highest part of the Los Sauces Dam. Here, we'll find Pucará de Los Sauces - an ancient fortress where Andean people used to live. In addition to enjoying the landscape, we'll learn all about the first inhabitants of La Rioja.

We'll continue our tour of the area, marveling at the lake of Dique Los Sauces and the views of the Sierras de Velasco, both symbols of La Rioja. Afterwards, we'll start our way back down the mountains until we reach the starting point.

Finally, we'll finish the excursion returning to your hotel after 3 hours of walking.
