At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in La Rioja and travel through the Quebrada Los Sauces to the trailhead, where we will begin our hike to explore the area.

We'll make a stop at the dry area of the river, marking the start of the trekking route. This hike will take us up a hill to the highest part of the Los Sauces Dam, where we will find Pucará de Los Sauces, an ancient fortress of the Andean people. Here, we will appreciate the landscape and learn about the early inhabitants of La Rioja.

The tour continues with views of the lake of Dique Los Sauces and the Sierras de Velasco, both symbols of La Rioja. We will then proceed back down the mountains to return to the starting point.

The excursion concludes after approximately 3 hours of walking, returning you to your hotel.
