Excursion to Teror, Roque Nublo & Bandama Caldera

Your adventure begins between 9:10 and 9:45 am, with a convenient pickup from your designated meeting point in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A minibus will transport you to the island's lofty peaks, including a stop at the Bandama Caldera.

At a designated viewpoint, you'll be treated to breathtaking sights of this volcanic structure. Bandama Caldera is recognized as the youngest volcano on the island, named in tribute to Daniel Van Damme, a Flemish settler who arrived in this region during the 16th century.

After capturing beautiful photos of this geological wonder, our journey continues to the picturesque municipality of San Mateo, where you'll have the chance to wander through its historic center. If you happen to join us on a Saturday, you'll also visit the town's vibrant flea market, brimming with authentic Canarian goods!

Next, we'll proceed to Pico de las Nieves, the highest summit in Gran Canaria, offering you mesmerizing panoramic views. Following this, another viewpoint will provide spectacular vistas of Roque Nublo, one of the island's most iconic landmarks. While you take in the sight of this majestic volcanic rock, we’ll share its fascinating history and formation.

Your exploration of Gran Canaria's peaks continues as we head to the Cruz de Tejeda Parador. At an elevation exceeding 1500 meters, this location presents enchanting views of the surrounding ravines and mountains. You’ll also have the opportunity to sample local delicacies such as cheese, olives, and nuts that the vendors have to offer. Additionally, you will enjoy one hour of free time to have lunch in Cruz de Tejeda.

To conclude the day, we'll visit the village of Teror, where a brief guided tour will introduce you to this lovely community, the home of the island's patron saint.

After this fulfilling excursion, we will return you to your original pickup point, arriving between 4:45 pm and 5:15 pm.
