On this buggy tour of Samaná, you'll explore the northern area of the Dominican Republic, visiting coffee, cacao, and tobacco plantations.

Buggy Tour

At the designated time, we will meet at Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops in Las Terrenas to begin the buggy tour of the Samaná Peninsula. During the tour, participants will ride on dirt trails, passing rivers, beaches, and traditional villages while taking in tropical landscapes.

We will stop at a traditional house to enjoy a traditional Dominican lunch featuring local cuisine. After lunch, the exploration will continue, with more opportunities to see coffee, cacao, and tobacco plantations.

On these plantations, participants will learn how organic coffee and cacao are produced and discover how the famous Dominican cigars are handcrafted, a process preserved through generations. The tour will conclude with a return to the meeting point after a total duration of 6 hours.

Important Info

Each buggy accommodates 4 people: a driver and 3 passengers, who can take turns driving if they meet the requirements. To drive the buggy, participants must be over 18 and possess a driver's license.
