On this buggy tour of Samaná, you'll explore the northern area of the Dominican Republic, visiting coffee, cacao, and tobacco plantations.

Buggy Tour

At the designated time, we'll meet at Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops in Las Terrenas to begin this buggy tour of the Samaná Peninsula. On board our buggies, we'll ride along a dirt trail passing traditional villages, showcasing the Samaná Peninsula's rich plantations.

We'll stop at a traditional house for a traditional Dominican lunch featuring local specialties. After lunch, we'll continue exploring more coffee, cacao, and tobacco plantations.

Along the way, we'll visit these plantations to learn about the production of organic coffee and cacao, as well as the artisanal process of making Dominican cigars, passed down for generations.

Finally, we'll return with our buggies to the meeting point, concluding this 8-hour tour.

Each buggy accommodates 4 people: a driver and 3 passengers, who can alternate driving if requirements are met. Prices are per person, not per vehicle.

To drive the buggy, you must be over 18 and have a driver's license.
