Grand Canyon Tour from Las Vegas

On this day trip from Las Vegas, participants will visit Grand Canyon West on the Hualapai Reservation and make a photo stop at the Hoover Dam on the return journey.

Day Trip Details

Participants will meet at Treasure Island Hotel in Las Vegas and embark on the trip to the Grand Canyon. The journey involves crossing the Colorado River and traveling through the Mojave Desert, with narration from the guide.

After approximately 2.5 hours, the group will reach Grand Canyon West where they will have about 4 hours to explore. The first stop will be Eagle Point for views of the eagle-shaped rock formation. Later, participants can visit Guano Point for panoramic views of the Colorado River and learn about the old aerial tramway related to the Bat Cave.

The trip will include a visit to the Hualapai Ranch to view Native American cultural exhibits. On the way back to Las Vegas, stops will be made at the Arizona Joshua Tree Forest, the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge for views of the Hoover Dam, and Hemenway Park in Boulder City to spot local Bighorn Sheep.

Finally, the group will return to Las Vegas and end at the meeting point.
