Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your chosen meeting point in Las Vegas and drive to Boulder City, which is about a 45-minute minibus ride away. We will discuss Boulder City's role in the construction of the Hoover Dam and make photo stops at various viewpoints, including the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Bridge. Experience views of the Colorado River and Black Canyon from nearly 984.2 feet (300 meters) above sea level.

As part of the tour, we'll visit the Lake Mead visitor center to learn about the history of the Hoover Dam, built in the 1930s during the Great Depression. The dam's purpose includes flood prevention and hydroelectric power generation, supplying electricity to nearly a million people across Nevada, Arizona, and part of California.

After a five-hour tour, we'll return you to the starting point.

Select this ticket option for an in-depth experience of the Hoover Dam. In addition to the outer dam tour, you will enter the dam to view the turbines and generator room, and visit the Visitor Center with its historical exhibits and observation platform.
