Description

We will pick you up at your chosen meeting point in Las Vegas and travel to Boulder City to approach the Hoover Dam. The minibus ride will last approximately 45 minutes.

During the tour, we will discuss Boulder City's role in the dam's construction and pause for photo opportunities at various viewpoints, including the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Bridge. Views will include the Colorado River and Black Canyon from nearly 984.2 feet (300 meters) in elevation.

The tour includes a visit to the Lake Mead visitor center to explore the Hoover Dam's history, named after President Herbert Hoover. Built in the 1930s during the Great Depression, the dam's purpose was to prevent flooding and to produce hydroelectric power and irrigation water.

This dam supplies electricity to almost one million residents in Nevada, Arizona, and parts of California, highlighting its significance.

The tour lasts five hours and concludes with a return to the starting point.
