Description

At the scheduled time, pickup will occur at your chosen meeting point in Las Vegas, followed by a drive to Boulder City, approximately 45 minutes away. The tour includes insights into Boulder City's role in the dam's construction and brief photo stops at viewpoints, such as the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Bridge. You will gain a perspective from around 984.2 feet (300 meters) above sea level overlooking the Colorado River and Black Canyon.

The tour also includes a visit to the Lake Mead visitor center for lessons on the Hoover Dam's history, built during the Great Depression in the 1930s to prevent flooding and provide hydroelectric power and irrigation. The dam supplies electricity to nearly a million people across Nevada, Arizona, and parts of California.

The tour lasts five hours, concluding with a return to the starting point.
