Gruyères Tour
At the scheduled time, we will depart from Rte de Berne 10 in Lausanne to Maison Cailler, a famous Swiss chocolate factory located in Broc. Here, we will learn about chocolate production and taste various chocolate products.
After the factory tour, we will visit the Maison du Gruyères, a factory-museum where we will uncover the secrets of Gruyères cheese, made with fresh local milk and registered as a Protected Designation of Origin.
We will then proceed through the Swiss countryside, enjoying views of lush green fields and alpine cows before stopping in the medieval village of Gruyères. Participants will have about two hours to enjoy lunch and explore this picturesque town in the canton of Fribourg.
In the afternoon, we will drive through the mountain area of Le Moléson before returning to Lausanne, arriving at the original departure point between 5:15 pm and 5:45 pm.
Guide
This tour is conducted in English. Groups with fewer than 10 people will be accompanied by a driver providing explanations. For groups larger than 10, a guide will accompany the tour.
