Montreux Tour + Chaplin's World
On the day of the tour, we'll meet at the scheduled time at Rte de Berne 10, where we'll begin a drive to the outskirts of Montreux.
Following the road alongside Lake Geneva, next to the so-called Swiss Riviera, we'll reach Corsier-sur-Vevey, home to Chaplin's World, a museum dedicated to the actor. We'll explore this museum before continuing the tour.
We'll explore the Lavaux countryside, known for its terraced vineyards, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour continues with a visit to the Château de Chillon, a medieval fortress on the shores of Lake Geneva, inspiring poets like Lord Byron.
Next, we'll head into the center of Montreux, where you will have two hours to have lunch and stroll through the old town, featuring the statue of Freddie Mercury beside Lake Geneva, one of the most photographed in Switzerland.
Finally, we will return to our starting point in Lausanne, where we expect to arrive between 5:15 pm and 5:45 pm.
