Schilthorn Cable Car Experience

Your admission covers access to various attractions in the Alpine region:

Schilthorn Cable Car

This experience includes a round-trip cable car ticket traveling between the charming Swiss village of Stechelberg and the peak of the Schilthorn, which towers nearly 10,000 feet (2,970 meters) high.

The ascent from Stechelberg to the summit of Schilthorn spans 32 minutes, with three intermediate stops at Gimmelwald, Mürren, and Birg.

While a designated time will appear upon booking, you have the flexibility to embark on your journey at your convenience. The cable car operates from Stechelberg between 7:55 am and 2:55 pm, departing every half hour. Once at the top, the cable cars descend from Schilthorn on an hourly basis. The final return trip from the summit is scheduled for 4:25 pm during summer and 3:55 pm in winter.

Thrill Walk Birg

At Birg, one of the cable car's stops, you can experience the thrilling Thrill Walk. This impressive suspension bridge measures 656 feet (200 meters) and is suspended at an altitude of 8,782 feet (2,677 meters), providing an exhilarating viewpoint.

As you traverse the bridge, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the majestic peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.

Piz Gloria

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the revolving restaurant Piz Gloria. While your ticket does not cover refreshments at the restaurant, you do have access to its remarkable panoramic viewpoint.

Children Under 6

For children aged under six years, there is no requirement to purchase a ticket. They are welcome to ride the cable car at no cost when accompanied by a paying adult.
