Bioluminescent Plankton Kayak Tour + Stargazing

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the meeting point on the island of Holbox for this kayaking activity. We will briefly explain how to handle the kayaks and practice paddling under the starry night sky.

We will start paddling along the coast of Holbox to experience the mesmerizing bioluminescent plankton. Participants will have the opportunity to dive into the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean to observe the bioluminescent plankton closely. The blue light emitted by these microorganisms is enhanced by water movement, which will be evident during the tour.

We will paddle for 20 to 30 minutes while enjoying the luminescent plankton and the starry sky, with a clear view of the constellations, planets, and part of the Milky Way due to minimal light pollution.

We will return to the meeting point approximately one and a half to two hours after the start time.
