When booking your kayak tour in Holbox, you can choose between two options. Both depart from Paseo Kuka and include kayak rental and an English-speaking guide. Below are the itineraries:

Río Kuka Mangroves (3 hours)

This option features a kayak tour on the Kuka River, exploring local plants and wildlife on Holbox. Participants will paddle through mangroves populated by flamingos, ospreys, cormorants, and roseate spoonbills, with potential sightings of crocodiles along the shore. The tour covers 8 kilometres before returning to the starting point.

Río Kuka Mangroves & Punta Mosquito (5 hours)

This tour follows the same route as above, but includes kayaking to Punta Mosquito after the mangroves. This area features a large beach, sand dunes, and panoramic views of the Caribbean. The experience highlights various wildlife, including peregrine falcons, snowy plovers, sea plovers, and American oystercatchers. The total route is 13 kilometres, concluding back at the starting point.
