Le Morne Brabant Trekking Tour

At the appointed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel on the Le Morne Brabant peninsula, located in the southwestern tip of Mauritius.

We'll drive by 4x4 to the northeast flank of the mountain, where we'll start the trekking route through Le Morne Brabant. The walk will take between 3 and 4 hours depending on the group's pace, covering a total distance of 5.6 kilometres with several stops to enjoy the natural environment designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the first part of the route, we will climb up to 200 metres to watch the sunrise over the bay of Le Morne. After admiring the dawn over the Indian Ocean, we'll continue climbing to the top of Le Morne Brabant.

The summit of the mountain is 465 metres high. At the top, we will take a 45-minute break to contemplate the landscape. From this location, we'll see the green valleys at its feet and the Benitiers and Fourneau islands.

We'll then start the descent to the base of the mountain, returning by 4x4 to the pick-up point, arriving between 9 am and 10 am.

This activity includes pick-up at 5:40 am from hotels on the Le Morne Brabant peninsula. For those staying in other parts of Mauritius, we will meet at 6 am on the Route Cotiere road in Le Morne Brabant.
