Le Puy Cathedral, located in the French region of Auvergne, is a World Heritage Site as part of the French Way of St. James.

With our ticket, you can visit the Le Puy-en-Velay Cathedral Complex which includes the cloister and the chapter house.

The complex features a remarkable Romanesque cloister, built in the 12th century, retaining much of its polychromy. Additionally, the chapter house showcases a 13th-century fresco depicting the crucifixion and various pieces of sacred art linked to the Way of St. James pilgrimage.

Le Puy Cathedral has the following opening hours:

15th May to 15th September

Open from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.Final admission: 30 minutes before closing time.

16th September to 14th May

Open from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm.Final admission: 30 minutes before closing time.Closed days: Every Monday.24th and 31st December: Closing time at 4 pm.

Free admission

Admission to the Le Puy Cathedral is free for the following individuals:

Young people from the European Union between 18 and 25 years old.Children under 18 years old, regardless of nationality.

Additionally, free admission is available on the first Sunday of the month between January 1 and March 31, November 1 and December 31, and the third weekend of September. To obtain the free admission, visit the ticket office and present a certifying document.
