Le Puy Cathedral, located in the French region of Auvergne, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site significantly tied to the French Way of St. James.

Your ticket allows you to explore the Le Puy-en-Velay Cathedral Complex, which includes the cloister and the chapter house. The Romanesque cloister, built in the 12th century during the Carolingian period, showcases much of its original polychromy. Additionally, the chapter house features a notable 13th-century fresco depicting the crucifixion.

Le Puy Cathedral has the following opening hours:

15th May to 15th September

Open from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.Final admission: 30 minutes before closing time.

16th September to 14th May

Open from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.Final admission: 30 minutes before closing time.Closed days: Every Monday.24th and 31st December: Closes at 4 pm.

Admission to the Le Puy Cathedral is free for the following individuals:

Young people from the European Union aged 18 to 25.Children under 18 years old, regardless of nationality.

Free admission is also available on the first Sunday of the month from January 1 to March 31, from November 1 to December 31, and on the third weekend of September. To obtain free admission, visit the site’s ticket office and present a certifying document of eligibility.
