This excursion begins at Porta Napoli in Lecce, where we start our journey to explore Gallipoli, Otranto, Leuca, and Galatina. We will travel along the scenic Adriatic and Ionian coastlines, revealing breathtaking cliffs, hidden bays, and clear beaches.

Our first stop is the village of Otranto, a historical site with influences from the Romans, Ottomans, and Aragonese. You will have free time to wander its streets, visit the Cathedral, admire the Byzantine church of San Pietro, explore the castle, and see the Pelasgi Bastions and ancient walls.

Next is Santa Maria di Leuca, where the Ionian and Adriatic Seas meet. Enjoy panoramic views of the harbor and the Sanctuary of Santa Maria di Finibus Terrae, and view scenic spots like Santa Cesarea Terme, Castro Marina, and the Ciolo Fjord.

We will then visit Gallipoli, known as the Pearl of the Ionian. The city features the modern Borgo and the historic old town, which is situated on a limestone island with a blend of ancient Greek heritage and a Mediterranean atmosphere.

Finally, we'll stop at Galatina, the third-largest town in the province of Lecce. Here, you can view the Basilica of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria with its frescoes, and the church of Santi Pietro e Paolo.

After an eight-hour journey, filled with sights and cultural experiences, we conclude back at the meeting point in Lecce.
