Discover the beautiful locations along Italy's Ionian Coast when you take our fantastic tour from Lecce. Travel back in time to the town of Nardò, visit some picturesque coastal villages, and take a dip in the beaches of Gallipoli.

Ionian Coast Trip from Lecce

We will pick you up at your hotel in Lecce, before heading to Nardò, the second-largest city in the Salento region. There, we will explore the historic center, where you will encounter the Cathedral and the Church of Saint Dominic. We will also visit the Castle of Acquaviva.

The next stop is at the ruins of the Torre Uluzzo watchtower, dating back to 1575, where you will enjoy panoramic views of the coastline.

We will then visit the coastal town of Santa Caterina, the fishing village of Santa Maria al Bagno, and the Four Columns medieval fort, allowing you to stroll through the historic streets of these communities.

The last stop is at the coastal town of Gallipoli, known for its 14th-century city walls and Ancient Greek and Roman heritage. Here, you can relax on its beaches, visit the cathedral, and enter the castle to learn about the town's history.

We will finish the excursion in Lecce, where we will accompany you to your accommodation.
