Lecce Wine Tour

We will meet at the established time at Vico de Argenteris 16A to start the tour of the best wineries in Lecce. Many of the most famous wines in Italy originate from the Salento region of Puglia.

As we explore the historic old town of Lecce, we will learn about the Salento wine tradition and the unique culture of this southeastern Italian town. Visits will be made to the top wine shops in the area, where we will taste Negroamaro, Primitivo, and Susumaniello wines from some of the oldest vineyards in Salento.

The diverse flavors and aromas of these ancient wines will enhance your appreciation for their intricacies. We will view historic sites such as Porta Napoli and the Basilica of Santa Croce as we travel from winery to winery.

The tour will also include a visit to the ruins of the Roman theater and amphitheater, concluding in Piazza del Duomo three hours after the start.
