Lecce Wine Tour

We will meet at Vico de Argenteris 16A at the scheduled time to begin our tour of the best wineries in Lecce, known for famous wines in Italy from the Salento region of Puglia.

As we explore the historic old town of Lecce, we will learn about the Salento wine tradition and local culture. The tour includes visits to top wine shops, where we will taste Negroamaro, Primitivo, and Susumaniello, produced in some of the oldest vineyards in Salento.

Participants will appreciate the colors, smells, and flavors of these wines while also enjoying the rich heritage of Lecce, including sights like Porta Napoli and the Basilica of Santa Croce, as we move between wineries.

The tour culminates after three hours with a visit to the ruins of the Roman theater and amphitheater, concluding at Piazza del Duomo.
