Leeds Walking Tour
At 10:30 am we will meet in front of the Town Hall, the starting point for this guided walking tour of Leeds.
Departing from the Town Hall, we will approach the central City Square, where we will see the various statues, including the statue of Edward "The Black Prince." We will learn about the eight nude nymphs holding lamps in this esplanade during the tour.
As we continue through the city streets, we will arrive at the Leeds Corn Exchange, a Victorian-style shopping center showcasing Leeds' blend of old and new architecture.
Leeds is a notable city for shopping. After visiting the Corn Exchange, we will explore Kirkgate Market, one of the largest indoor markets in Europe.
Finally, we will visit Victoria Quarter, a network of interconnected, covered shopping spaces featuring marble, mosaics, cast and wrought iron, and carved mahogany.
The guided tour will conclude at noon outside Victoria Quarter.
