Leeds Walking Tour
At 10:30 am we'll meet in front of the Town Hall, the starting point for the guided walking tour of Leeds.
Leaving the Town Hall, we'll head to the central City Square, where various statues adorn the area, including the statue of Edward "The Black Prince." We'll explore the significance of the eight nude nymphs holding lamps found here.
Continuing through the city's streets, we will arrive at the Leeds Corn Exchange, a Victorian-style shopping center exemplifying the blend of old and new in Leeds.
Leeds is a great city for shopping. After visiting the Corn Exchange, we'll stroll through Kirkgate Market, one of the largest indoor markets in Europe.
Finally, we'll visit the Victoria Quarter, a network of interconnected, covered shopping spaces featuring marble, mosaics, cast and wrought iron, and carved mahogany.
The guided tour will end at noon outside of Victoria Quarter.
