Meet us at the Leiria Castle ticket office, the starting point of our guided tour of this fortress. The castle, inaugurated in 1135, features a well-preserved interior. We will explore its grand rooms and discuss its historical significance, built on the orders of Alfonso Henriques to protect the kingdom's borders.

In the city, we will visit important monuments such as the Church of Nossa Senhora da Penha, ancient Pazos Reales, and the Main Tower, offering impressive views unique to Portugal. After this, we will reach the Leiria Cathedral, which, despite its austere exterior, has a rich history revealed by our guide.

We will also see the Casa de los Pintores and Casa de los Arcos. Our tour will conclude in the Jewish Quarter, where we can appreciate its medieval layout. This two-hour tour of Leiria will end at this final stop.
