Meicin Valley Snowshoeing Tour
We'll meet at the indicated time in the recreational area of Tuiza de Arriba to start this snowshoeing tour through the Vega del Meicín. The tour begins in an Asturian village at an altitude of 1230 metres (4035 feet), following a path to a mountain refuge. Depending on snow conditions, snowshoes will be put on shortly after departure.
During the tour, we'll pass several huts and see the peaks of Las Ubiñas. If snow conditions allow, we may extend the route to Mollás Valley for views of the Vega del Meicín and its mountains.
We'll stop at the Meicin refuge for lunch and a hot drink while enjoying the view. After the break, we will descend to Tuiza through snow-covered meadows.
The tour concludes approximately 3 hours after starting, back at the starting point. We look forward to seeing you next time!
