Meicin Valley Snowshoeing Tour

We'll meet at the recreational area of Tuiza de Arriba to start the snowshoeing tour through the Vega del Meicín. The tour begins from this Asturian village, situated at an altitude of 1230 metres (4035 feet), and will follow a path towards a mountain refuge. Depending on snow conditions, we will put on our snowshoes shortly after departure.

The route includes passing several cabins with a view of the peaks of Las Ubiñas. If snow conditions allow, we may extend the route by climbing to Mollás Valley for additional views of the Vega del Meicín and its surrounding mountains.

We will stop at the Meicin refuge for lunch and a hot drink while enjoying the view. After this break, we will begin our descent to Tuiza, passing through expansive snow-covered meadows.

The tour lasts approximately 3 hours, concluding at our starting point. We look forward to seeing you on your next adventure!
