Meicin Valley Snowshoeing Tour
We'll meet at the recreational area of Tuiza de Arriba to begin the snowshoeing tour through the Vega del Meicín. The village is located at an altitude of 1230 meters (4035 feet) and we will follow a path leading to a mountain refuge. Depending on the snow conditions, we may put on snowshoes shortly after departing.
During the tour, we will pass several huts and enjoy views of the peaks of Las Ubiñas. If the snow allows, we can extend our route by climbing up to Mollás Valley for better views of the Vega del Meicín and surrounding mountains.
We'll stop at the Meicin refuge for lunch and a hot drink while enjoying the scenery. Following the break, we will begin our descent to Tuiza, traversing large snow-covered meadows.
The total duration of the tour is approximately 3 hours. We look forward to seeing you next time!
