Meicin Valley Snowshoeing Tour

We'll meet at the designated time in the recreational area of Tuiza de Arriba to start this snowshoeing tour through the Vega del Meicín. This tour begins in the Asturian village at an altitude of 1230 metres (4035 feet), following a path to a mountain refuge. Depending on the snow conditions, we will put on our snowshoes shortly after departure.

As we progress, we'll pass several huts and enjoy views of the peaks of Las Ubiñas. If conditions allow, we can extend the route to climb to the Mollás Valley for enhanced views of the Vega del Meicín and its mountains.

We'll reach the Meicin refuge for a lunch break and a hot drink, enjoying the views. From there, we will descend to Tuiza amidst expansive snow-covered meadows.

The total duration of the tour is approximately 3 hours from the start. We look forward to seeing you next time!
