On this excursion from Lençóis, we'll visit several caves in the Chapada Diamantina and the surroundings of the famous Morro do Pai Inácio.

Pickup at your hotel in Lençóis is at 8:30 am. We will tour the Chapada Diamantina in Bahia.

Our first stop is the Lapa Doce Cave, a limestone cave extending 800 meters (2,625 feet). After learning about its geology, we proceed to the Pratinha Cave for swimming in its clear waters.

Lunch is available at a local restaurant at your own expense. Next, we visit the Blue Grotto for a refreshing experience in a beautiful natural setting. The tour continues to the Morro do Pai Inácio, a peak at 1,200 meters (over 3,900 feet) with impressive views of the Chapada Diamantina. The 20-minute hike to the top provides an opportunity to admire the area.

We will then descend from Morro do Pai Inácio and return to the hotels in Lençóis, arriving at 6:30 pm.
