Would you like to marvel at the Sistine Chapel of the Romanesque? With this visit to the Museum of San Isidoro de León, you'll discover one of the most important Romanesque complexes in Europe.
Tour Details
We'll meet at the chosen time during the booking process in the interior of the Museum of San Isidoro de León. The tour includes various rooms, walking through the cloister and the chapter house. One highlight is the Arqueta de los Marfiles, from the 11th century. The Royal Panteon is a key focus, featuring significant frescoes.
We will also visit the main staircase, chamber of Doña Sancha with mural paintings, and the Renaissance Library, which houses some 2,000 volumes and over 100 codices. The chalice of Doña Urraca is another valuable piece.
The tour concludes after one hour at the entrance to the Museum of San Isidoro.
