San Miguel Allende Day Trip + Winery Visit

We will pick you up from your hotel in Leon and head to San Miguel de Allende. After a 2-hour drive, our first stop will be the San Miguel vineyards, located in Guanajuato, known for its winemaking tradition. We will explore the history of the region's wine while discussing significant wineries that have influenced local winemaking.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a guided tour through the vineyard installations that are essential to winemaking. To understand the process better, we will have a wine-tasting experience paired with a cheeseboard featuring wines produced on-site. Following this, you will have some free time at the San Miguel Winery Restaurant to enjoy lunch at your leisure.

Next, we will proceed to the historic downtown of San Miguel de Allende for a walking tour. Here, we will explore the colorful streets and learn about the unique characteristics of the colonial buildings and churches.

During the tour, we will visit important monuments such as the House of Captain Ignacio Allende, La Purísima Temple with its ancient cloister, the church of San Miguel Arcángel, and the Ángela Peralta Theater. We will conclude our trip with a return journey to Leon, arriving at your hotel approximately 7 hours later.
