San Miguel Allende Day Trip + Winery Visit

We will pick you up from your hotel in Leon and head towards San Miguel de Allende, a notable city in Mexico.

After a 2-hour drive, our first stop will be the San Miguel vineyards, located in Guanajuato, known for its winemaking tradition. We will explore the history of the region's wine and discuss the prominent wineries that contribute to its legacy.

Upon arrival, we will start a guided tour of the winery’s facilities integral to the winemaking process.

To experience this fully, we will conduct a wine-tasting session paired with a cheeseboard. Following this, enjoy free time at the San Miguel Winery Restaurant for lunch at your leisure.

Next, we will proceed to the historic downtown of San Miguel de Allende for a walking tour, exploring the vibrant streets and unique colonial architecture.

During the tour, we will visit key landmarks including the House of Captain Ignacio Allende, the temple of La Purísima and its ancient cloister, the church of San Miguel Arcángel, and the Ángela Peralta Theater.

Finally, we will return to Leon, completing the day approximately 7 hours later at your hotel.
