Tour Overview
Our guided adventure will commence at Plaza Ramón Arqués, followed by our journey into Borjas Blancas.
The first highlight of our tour will be the exterior wall of a chapel that was once part of a medieval hospital. From there, we'll proceed to Plaza 1 de Octubre, the original site of the town’s historic Town Hall.
Continuing onwards, we will take a leisurely walk through Terrall Park, leading us to our next destination, Espai Macià. This remarkable interpretative center provides a comprehensive insight into one of the most notable political figures in Catalonia’s history.
After enriching ourselves with the narrative of Francesc Macià, our next stop will be the Cal Gineret Olive Oil Mill, which served as a refuge during the Spanish Civil War. Here, we will explore the experiences during the bombings from 1938 to 1939, all within the surroundings of this historic establishment, constructed in the late 19th century.
Before concluding our visit to the mill, we’ll satisfy our appetites by tasting a carefully curated selection of olive oils that are produced right on the premises!
By the end of this hour-and-a-half journey through Borjas Blancas, you will be well on your way to becoming an olive oil connoisseur. We will conclude our experience by returning to the initial meeting point.
