3-Day Amazon Rainforest Tour
Day 1
We'll meet at 8 am in front of the Ethnographic Museum in Leticia and set off for this three-day adventure through the Amazon jungle. The tour begins with sailing down the Amazon River, discussing the area's plant and animal life. After about 30 minutes, we’ll reach the indigenous community of Gamboa to learn about their ancient traditions.
After a buffet lunch, we'll embark on an expedition through the jungle to search for medicinal plants and visit Camungo Lake for relaxation and birdwatching. We will set up camp and enjoy a sunset in the Colombian jungle, followed by an evening alligators observation before resting for the night.
Day 2
We will start with breakfast at camp before venturing on an expedition to find sloths, monkeys, and other Amazon species. After lunch, we’ll go fishing in the Amazon. The day concludes with a night expedition to observe tarantulas and scorpions before returning to camp for rest.
Day 3
On our last day, we’ll enjoy swimming in the Amazon River and watching dolphins in their natural habitat. Following a morning of immersion in nature, we’ll pack up camp after lunch and return to Leticia by 4 pm.
