3-Day Amazon Rainforest Tour
Day 1
We'll meet at 8 am in front of the Ethnographic Museum in Leticia. The tour begins with a boat ride down the Amazon River, discussing the area's plant and animal life. After 30 minutes, we'll reach the indigenous community of Gamboa to learn about their traditions. Following a buffet lunch, we'll explore the jungle for medicinal plants, identifying their properties. A visit to Camungo Lake allows for relaxation and birdwatching. We will camp and enjoy a sunset in the jungle before night observation of alligators.
Day 2
Day two starts with breakfast at camp, followed by an expedition to find sloths, monkeys, and other Amazon species. After lunch, we will go fishing in the Amazon. A night expedition will focus on observing tarantulas and scorpions. Returning to camp, participants can rest.
Day 3
The final day includes swimming in the Amazon River and watching dolphins. We will immerse ourselves in the surrounding nature. After lunch, we will pack up and depart, returning to Leticia by 4 pm.
