3-Day Amazon Rainforest Tour

Day 1

Meet at 8 am in front of the Ethnographic Museum in Leticia. The tour begins with a boat ride down the Amazon River, discussing the local plant and animal life. After 30 minutes, arrive at the indigenous community of Gamboa to learn about their traditions. Enjoy a buffet lunch before embarking on a jungle expedition to identify medicinal plants and visiting Camungo Lake for relaxation and birdwatching. Camp setup follows, with an evening alligator observation before resting for the night.

Day 2

The second day begins with breakfast at camp, followed by an expedition to find sloths, monkeys, and other Amazon species. Lunch will be served in the jungle, then engage in fishing in the Amazon. Return to camp for rest, followed by a night expedition to observe tarantulas and scorpions before retreating to camp for the night.

Day 3

The final day includes swimming in the Amazon River and dolphin watching. Immerse yourself in nature and learn about the environment. After lunch, pack up camp and depart for Leticia, arriving at 4 pm.

Accommodation

The tour includes two nights of camping in the Amazon jungle, equipped with tents, hammocks, and plastic covers to avoid mosquitos.
