3-Day Amazon Rainforest Tour
Day 1
Meeting at 8 am in front of the Ethnographic Museum in Leticia, we will begin our three-day adventure through the Amazon jungle. The tour starts with sailing down the Amazon River, discussing the local flora and fauna. After approximately 30 minutes, we will reach the indigenous community of Gamboa to learn about their traditions and lifestyle.
After a buffet lunch, we'll conduct an expedition in search of medicinal plants, identifying different species and learning about their properties. We'll also visit Camungo Lake for relaxation and birdwatching. We will set up camp and enjoy the sunset before observing alligators in the evening.
Day 2
Starting with breakfast at camp, we will then embark on a jungle expedition to search for sloths, monkeys, and more. Following lunch, participants can try their hand at fishing in the Amazon. After returning to the camp, a night expedition will involve observing tarantulas and scorpions.
After a fulfilling day, we will rest until the next day.
Day 3
The final day includes swimming in the Amazon River and watching dolphins. After a morning immersed in nature, we will have lunch and pack up camp, returning to Leticia by 4 pm.
