Amazon Hiking Tour

We'll meet at 8 am in front of the Ethnographic Museum of Leticia. After gathering the group, we'll travel by minibus to the Amazon rainforest surrounding the town to discover the flora and fauna.

After a brief overview of safety instructions, we'll begin a hiking route through the Amazon rainforest, focusing on native species while respecting the environment. Depending on your selected level of difficulty, you'll choose between smooth paths or steep and rocky trails.

During the hike in Leticia's jungle, we'll encounter exotic birds, insects, and various Amazonian wildlife. Potential sightings include caimans from a safe distance, along with hidden canals and locals fishing in creeks.

We will take a break for a picnic lunch in the middle of the jungle. After eight hours of exploration, we will return to the starting point in Leticia, concluding the hiking route.

Difficulty level

When booking, you can choose the level of difficulty of the hiking tour. The hike duration is three hours for the easy route, five hours for the moderate route, and eight hours for the advanced route.
