Amazon Hiking Tour

We'll meet at 8 am in front of the Ethnographic Museum of Leticia. After gathering the group, we will travel by minibus to the Amazon rainforest surrounding the town to discover its flora and fauna.

Following an overview of safety instructions, we will start our hiking route through the Amazon rainforest, focusing on native species and environmental respect. Depending on the selected difficulty, you will follow smooth paths or take on steep and rocky trails.

During the hike, we will encounter exotic birds, insects, and various Amazonian wildlife. There is a chance we may also see caimans from a safe distance. The tour includes views of hidden canals and locals fishing in the creeks.

We will pause for a picnic lunch in the Amazon jungle. After eight hours of exploration, we will return to the starting point in Leticia.

Difficulty level

When booking, you can choose the hiking tour's difficulty level. The entire day will be spent in the Amazon rainforest, with hiking durations of three hours for the easy route, five hours for the moderate route, and eight hours for the advanced route.
